Ion exchanger regeneration process

Anion exchangers are also known as sodium ion exchangers. Ion exchangers are classified into types such as sodium ion exchangers, dual-bed exchangers, and mixed-bed exchangers. The outer shell of ion exchange columns (exchangers) is generally made of materials such as rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC), rigid polyvinyl chloride composite fiberglass (PVC-FRP), plexiglass (PMMA), plexiglass composite transparent fiberglass (PMMA-FRP), rubber-lined steel (JR), and rubber-lined stainless steel. They are mainly used in boilers, thermal power plants, chemical industry, light industry, textile industry, medicine, biology, electronics, atomic energy, and as pre-treatment for pure water treatment. They are also used in industrial production where hard water softening and deionized water preparation are required, as well as for decolorization and purification of food and drugs, recovery of precious metals and chemical raw materials, and treatment of electroplating wastewater. The regeneration of ion exchangers involves four basic processes.

This industrial park will focus on water treatment technology, with multi-stage biological technology for sewage treatment, rural sewage treatment, and artificial wetland leachate treatment technology receiving much attention, and will also play an important role in Dongguan's water pollution control. Dongguan Water Treatment Dongguan New Yangtze Industrial Park plans to start construction next year.
