(Summary description)The Guangzhou Daily once reported that the total domestic sewage treatment capacity in downtown Guangzhou reached 2.98 million tons per day, and the treatment rate was close to 90%. However, the reporter visited the sewage treatment plant and found that the area where the sewage pipeline has been built is facing three major threats: "barbaric construction, secret discharge of construction waste, and secret discharge of industrial waste water". Incomplete statistics from the Municipal Water Purification Company show that nearly 60 central urban sewage pipelines have been damaged by brutal construction in recent years. From January to April this year alone, there were 22 cases of severely exceeded suspended solids in the sewage treatment plant in the central urban area. Most of the muddy water was sneaked into the sewage pipe, causing the untreated domestic sewage to be directly discharged into the Pearl River. Faced with such a large amount of sewage data, human health will be threatened. The New Yangtze River Water Company appeals to everyone to protect water resources, use water rationally to reduce sewage treatment, and be healthy for you and me.
