In water treatment technology, ion exchange is a process that has been used for a long time to produce high-purity pure water or ultra-pure water. Generally, raw water contains a variety of free anions and cations, such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, HCO3-, NO3-, SO42-. The plasma passes through the ion exchange resin and is absorbed by the resin to replace H+ and OH- ions to be purified into pure water. The exchange resin that has adsorbed various ions undergoes reverse regeneration of acid (H+)/base (OH-), will be reduced and can be used again.
