Membrane Bioreactor
Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a mature process that uses immersed membrane separation technology to treat wastewater. This technology can avoid the use of traditional sedimentation tanks and allow a higher volume load, thus reducing the space occupied by the equipment. MBR can effectively remove most of BOD5, remove phosphorus and nitrogen, and completely remove TSS.
Membrane bioreactors are currently widely used in secondary wastewater treatment to recover waste water, which can be used as reclaimed water and used as daily flushing water to save water sources.
